Some of ATOMIC's activities include:

• An annual conference

• Acting as a resource and liaison on relevant issues such as certification, professional development, curriculum materials and other educational issues with the Connecticut State department of Education and other professional organizations throughout the state

• Facilitating special interest workshops and in-service training on current trends in mathematics education at various locations throughout the state

• Functioning as a source of speakers for local, regional and national meetings

• Hosting Dinner Meetings with outstanding speakers

• Cooperating with ATMNE and NCTM in organizing regional conventions and other activities
