What is the event?  Dinner, followed by two sessions (one discussion and one escape room)

Learn how to transform students from reporters of answers to understanders and communicators of mathematics through word problems and other mathematical situations.  Leave with ideas for practices and instructional strategies that you can bring back to your classroom, school and/or district.

Desmos - Powerful Instructional Tool


Learn about the various classroom activities and embedded graphing features of Desmos. Time will be spent learning successful strategies and it's link to promoting productive mathematics discussion.


Escape Rooms: Elementary Escape Room or Secondary Escape Room


This experience will be worth the trip!
